Overview
Middesk now supports business verification in 65+ countries, more than doubling our coverage and reaching Latin America for the first time. Businesses across Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and APAC can now be verified through the same business verification integration customers rely on today.
Alongside new markets, this release adds official business documents in 18 countries, integrated sanctions and PEP screening for international entities, and people matching for Canadian businesses.
More markets. The same integration.
This expansion adds coverage in Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East, and Africa, while extending our reach across Europe and APAC.
Customers access newly supported markets through the same product endpoint, Business object, and registrations response:
- Authoritative registry data: Core business attributes from local registries, including business name, address, registration number, and status.
- One integration: Verify international businesses using the same API parameters, batch CSV templates, or dashboard workflows used domestically.
Contact our team for the full list of supported countries or learn more about the product in our API documentation.
Sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening
Verification and compliance screening now live in a single workflow for international businesses. Customers can order Enhanced Screenings alongside International Verify via API, batch CSV, or directly in the dashboard to screen international entities against 200+ global sanctions, watchlists, and politically exposed persons (PEP) lists.
Screening evaluates both the business and any directors and officers returned by the local registry, querying against the entity’s registered country. Matches populate your existing Watchlist review queue for audit and resolution.
Official business documents for audit-ready proof
When compliance policies require documentary evidence, customers can order official records for international entities in 18 countries, including Germany, France, Japan, Singapore, and Australia.
Two document types are available:
- Registry extracts: Current official registry records showing entity details at a point in time.
- Formation documents: Foundational incorporation filings.
Document availability varies by country.
People matching for Canadian businesses
Customers verifying Canadian businesses can now submit associated people alongside the business record to match against provincial and federal registries. Results confirm whether submitted individuals appear on the official registry filing.
